Presentor and actor Johnny de Mol is well-known for his programmes SynDroom (Golden Televizier-ring 2015), Superkids and Wensboom. Johnny won a Silver Televizier Star in October 2015. In 2016 Johnny will be presenting De Reis van Je Leven, Family Island, Holland’s Got Talent and Superkids. Furthermore, Johnny is ambassador of Het Vergeten Kind and Movement on the Ground.

Are you in control of your path in life? Do you feel you are enough? Do you know what you stand for? Can you give an absolute ‘YES’ to all three? In my presentation I am going to take you on a journey that shows you how pure and wonderful life can be when the answer is YES. And I will give you some advice on how to live like this.

My name is Wout van Wengerden. I am a former professional athlete and now entrepreneur. I have my own life-laboratory called ‘Kwetsbare Held’ (Vulnerable Hero). I hope to see you all on this adventure.

Derek Otte is a magician when it comes to language. He writes, rhymes and speaks. He used to have a stutter, never finished a degree after high school and constantly scribbling in his notepad he fills at least two a month. He carries his heart on his sleeve and shares stories about treasures and misery, the melting pot we call society and his one true love: Rotterdam.

Journalist en presentator Jort Kelder volgt al decennia de carrières van menigeen in ondernemend Nederland – en ver daarbuiten. Hij heeft een neus voor querulanten, boeven en andere paradijsvogels – en een voorliefde voor de kwajongens in het zakenleven, mits ze fair zijn. Zelf schopte hij het van stagiair tot hoofdredacteur van Quote; allicht kunt u daar nog wat van leren. Komt allen voor een kijkje in de wondere wereld volgens Kelder en vraag hem de bretels van het lijf.

Als je het echt wil maken, moet je in Rotterdam zijn. Geen stad biedt zoveel mogelijkheden om talenten te ontplooien en dromen te verwezenlijken. Tegelijk is Rotterdam ook een stad met uitdagingen. Daarom had het thema van deze Social Sciences Career Week, ‘From inspiration to participation’, niet beter gekozen kunnen worden. Het start met een droom. Je zet je talenten en creativiteit in om dat wat jou drijft te realiseren. Maar jouw inspiratie stopt niet bij jou; het raakt ook anderen. Je staat niet in je eentje in het leven: je participeert in de wereld om je heen. Wethouder de Jonge van Onderwijs, Jeugd en Zorg zal vertellen wat voor inspiraties hij heeft gehad maar ook welke uitdagingen hij is tegengekomen tijdens zijn loopbaan.

Barbara Muller’s mission is to brighten the world and ease the living – especially for young children. She established Stichting het Babyhuis (Foundation the Baby Home), Stichting Beschermde Wieg (Foundation Protected Cradle) en Stichting beschermd Bevallen (Foundation Protectively Birth), in which she strives to protect the life of infants. She obtained national fame when realising the controversial Foundlings Rooms.
She wrote De babyplanner (The Baby Planner), Omarm me (Embrace me), Kind zonder stem (Child without a voice), Liefs van Keet (Love from Keet) and Het orkest van de engelen (The orchestra of angels).
As an author she inspires people around her to stay true to themselves, learn how to trust and intensify the connection between the heart and the mind to make dreams come true.

Nupur Kohli is Winner of the National VIVA400 Award for Most Inspiring Woman Of The Netherlands in the Category Smart Brains. She is a Medical Doctor, Author, Global Speaker and a Strategic Healthcare Consultant. Fascinated by the human body and how it works, she obtained her Masters degree in Medicine from the Academic Medical Center, University of Amsterdam. Thereafter she did Fundamentals of Business from Harvard Business School – HBX, USA. Nupur has given worldwide almost 70 international speeches and media appearances, including two times a TEDx Talk.

She aspires to reduce stress in societies, businesses and the corporate world, affecting decision making, productivity and profitability. She did substantial research on stress and productivity and is the author of the book ‘Chill! How to survive stress and improve personal and professional productivity. Symptoms and solutions to chronic pressure.’ (www.nupur.nl).

In this lecture she will talk about management of stress and chronic pressure and how to improve productivity in personal and professional life, with several insights and also her own journey that lead her to winning the VIVA400 Award.
